Paso Robles is where wine, culinary delights and the art of living well are well defined. With a population of 30,072, the city of Paso Robles has grown from a small train stop to a thriving cultural mecca.
Paso Robles is most well known for its extensive wine country making it one of California’s fastest growing wine regions. Every October the city holds a winery open house with the Harvest Wine Weekend where more than 140 local wineries come out to show the fruits of their labor.
In addition to local wineries, Paso Robles also offers dining and shopping in their downtown shops and local rural charm with horseback riding and ranches.
In the summer, Paso Robles is home to the Mid-State Fair with professional performers, local exhibits, food, animals, and rodeos.
Paso Robles is part of the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District which features 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 3 high schools.
